I'm Suzie Brooks

As a young, newly qualified accountant, I instigated changes that turned a loss-making company, turning over £15m, into a highly profitable £35m business.

I realised I had an ability to see clearly why the business was failing and to direct change that had an instant positive effect on not just profitability, but on the culture and the workforce too.

After using this ‘recipe for success’ to buy up other businesses in the same industry and transform them too, we’d developed a group of companies worth £150m.

That’s when I decided to leave the corporate world and start my own business.

Now I use my skills and expertise to show small business owners how to build successful, profitable businesses….

My Story

I always liked numbers and logic so when I discovered accounting on a business studies course, I realised that this was a perfect fit for me.

No one in our family went to university so I was expected to get a job at 18. This meant that if I wanted to be an accountant I’d have to study in my own time, which took years longer than if I’d gone to uni.

But by the age of 28 I became the youngest Finance Director (and first female) of the subsidiary of a plc, all as a result of relaying my thoughts to the new MD as to why the business was failing.

I was so lucky that he listened and was willing to take a chance on me. We still keep in touch today, even after 30 years.

Since then I have helped hundreds of businesses achieve success, using the same blueprint I used then, but obviously with a tech twist now.
